UNIID-SEA partners with ASPAP
The signing of the partnership agreement between the Ateneo School of Government (as represented by its dean, Dr. Antonio La Vina) and ASPAP (as represented by its president, Prof. Eleazar Ricote) took place today, October 16, at the Ateneo School of Government. The project, entitled “Scanning Innovation and Development Policy Efforts and Challenges in Southeast Asia: Towards a Truly Participative and Inclusive Development”, aims to do a broad and instructive mapping of policies that facilitate Innovation for Inclusive Development (IID) in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. ASPAP will engage policy researchers from these countries, who will develop a set of policy profiles and country-specific case studies. These policy profiles and case studies will be compiled and the findings consolidated to provide an overview of the IID policy landscape in the region. The study will be completed by April 2014, the results of which will be presented in the UNIID-SEA Regional Conference set on the third quarter of 2014.
