Design Thinking for Climate Change and Sustainability Forum
UNIID-SEA attended this forum organized by the Philippine Climate Change Commission, PortfolioMNL and Tink Tank Studio.
The multidisciplinary forum gathered practitioners from different sectors and groups from the creative industry in pursuit of sustainability. This was held yesterday, April 16, at the Kalayaan Hall, Malacanang Palace Compound, Philippines. The design thinking process involves empathy, conceptualization, collaboration and the actual prototyping of a specific product or process that addresses a certain need. Applying design thinking in sustainability efforts will enable more people, especially the most vulnerable communities, to take part in creating more innovative ways to adapt to and become more resilient to the effects of climate change.
